Description

Marshall Keeble (1878-1968) was an African-American educator and evangelist of the Church of Christ, born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He helped bridge the racial divide in the American religious climate that preceded the Civil Rights Movement. He also helped found a number of Christian schools, including the Nashville Christian Institute, and the Southwestern Christian College.
