Description

Horace A. Tenney served as chairman to the Republican State Central Committee in the late 1850s. He played a major role in the formation and development of the party in Wisconsin, particularly in Madison and Milwaukee. In these letters and notices, Tenney and his fellow party members plan and discuss upcoming meetings and the future direction of the Republican Party.
