Description
Harvey Gantt delivers a speech at a rally at UNC Greensboro. The recording begins with two women's voices, and one plays the Greensboro speech over the phone. Gantt encourages young people to vote by invoking the Civil Rights Movement. He describes his opponent, Jesse Helms as being stuck in the past. Gantt supports Federal involvement in education, and says that education is important in order to compete internationally.
