Description

Holograph, signed.Lucia Weston mentions that J. K. Lord came to the house looking for Deborah Weston. She gives news of her family. Henry G. Chapman went to Albany and found the meeting there dominated by the "peelers." The chairman, Alvan Stewart, argued with William Lloyd Garrison about the phrasing of the call for the meeting. In general, the Garrisonians did not participate actively.
