View
@ University of Massachusetts, Amherst

Description

A black Hercules, "trying to decide whether to go to Tuskegee or the CCC camp," meets two white men at the crossroads, is accosted by a preacher, meets an unfriendly crowd, and walks on to at last rest his eyes. Bears extensive pencilled revisions and edits in Du Bois's hand.
