Description

Stevens models offer carnations while promoting leg wraps for Macy's at the corner of 46th Street and Broadway Boulevard on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. A table with a silver lamé tablecloth is on the sidewalk with white buckets of carnations on the table. The model farthest to the left wears a matching t-shirt and hot pants of horizontal green, white, baby blue, and red stripes and white sandals with leg wraps up to her knees. To her left, an African American model wears a yellow long-sleeved blouse with large collar lapels and cuffs under a horizontal-striped bib of primary colors and matching hot pants and brown sandals with leg wraps that end just below her knee. To her left, the model wears denim blue with dark pink dots in a patchwork pattern long-sleeved shirt and matching hot pants with white leg wrap sandals that end just above her knee. Behind them closer to the corner of the intersection, a person is wearing a Roman costume with a gold helmet and red cape. That person is talking to a man in a suit.No datelikely early 1970sDigitizing agency: University of Missouri--Kansas City. Library. Dr. Kenneth J.
