Lists the names of the students charged. March 3, 1961. b) "Negro Youths Face Charges" Details arrest of eight African American youths in picketing protests against the Liberty Theater. Lists the names of the students charged. March 7, 1961. c) "8 Negro Pickets Seized By Police" Details arrest of eight African American youths in picketing protests against the Liberty Theater. Lists the names of the students charged. March 7, 1961. d1, 2) "6 of 12 Teen-Age Negroes Nabbed At 'Look-Ins' Fined Maximum $50 For Disorderly Conduct" Details the hearings of twelve African American youths regarding their disorderly conduct charges while picketing outside two downtown theaters. Includes the names of those charged and two photographs of the court proceeding. March 8, 1961. e) Photograph of defendants in a court room. Approximately nine African American youths are standing together, dressed in tailored clothes. There is an older African American man in front of the judge's desk as well as an older Anglo man. Behind them the public gallery are filled with black and white men and women. "Jim Mooney" stamped on the back and "3-8-61" is written on the back.
