Description

Blues singer B. B. King is hardly blue as he sizes up the broccoli he sets a' simmering during his guest spot on the premiere program of "Feeling Good," the new prime-time health series that debuts November 20 on the 250 Public Broadcasting Service stations (8pm EST, 7 Central). King, an amateur chef, sings the praises of using the "pot liquor" when cooking vegetables because the liquid contains valuable nutrients. "Feeling Good," a series of 26 one-hour programs, is considered the most ambitious effort ever undertaken by television to inform and motivate viewers towards healthier living. The shows make their health points in a variety of entertaining and dramatic ways: comedy, satire, songs, animation, and short documentaries. It is the first program for adults to be produced by CTW, creator of "Sesame Street" (from photo caption). No datelikely between 1975 and 1980Digitizing agency: University of Missouri--Kansas City.
