Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.At the top of the page contains an annotation that says "Miss Weston."Richard Davis Webb writes to unknown in regards to being pleased to hear that the recipient has been doing well in Paris for two years. He has never seen Thackeray and does not know his character at all except that he is told "he is very tall & has a remarkably ugly nose." He wants to go to London with his daughter to see an exhibition. He may be able to meet Mary Anne Estlin there. Miss Estlin has been lending him her materials from American lectures. He is glad the recipient thinks Frank Jennings "may not altogether reprobate." He had a visit from Jenningson a few days ago and describes their visit. He discusses a new antislavery society in Dublin.
