Description

Seven women in hats and dresses. The woman in the top left hand corner is shown from the waist up with her back to the viewer. She wears a white bonnet with ruffles on either side. The crown is white and decorated with a bright blue ribbon. A blue ribbon bow also embellishes the side of the hat and the bonnet is tied under her chin with blue ribbons. Her dress is white with a wide, two tiered collar. The sleeves are short, pleated, and puffed. A small white bow ties at the back of the sleeve cuff. The bodice white with a seam down the back. The woman in the center of the top row is shown from the knees up. She wears a white, ruffled bonnet decorated with blue ribbons, red flowers with green leaves, and stalks of wheat. A blue bow secures the bonnet underneath her chin. A high white, leaf patterned fabric covers her neck and shoulders and extends in epaulets to her elbows. This fabric is wrapped to create a "V" shaped neck. A blue ribbon runs underneath a layer of lace so that the color shows. The ribbon ties in the middle with a small bow. The hem is made of two tiers of lace. Her dress is a pale yellow color with long, puff sleeves. Around her waist is a blue ribbon sash tied into a bow in the front.
