Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript addressed from "Shotley Bridge, Co. Durham".I. Priestman writes William Lloyd Garrison stating that while he is not known to Garrison, he remembers Garrison visiting the home of his father, Jonathan Priestman, "nearly 30 years ago". Priestman writes that he has heard that Garrison has visited his sisters Margaret Tanner, Anna Maria and Mary Priestman, and Helen Bright Clark, and invites Garrison to stay at his home during his visit to Newcastle.
