Description

Holograph, signed.In this letter, William James says that his "lady friends" have been working "with a spirt worthy of themselves and the cause" for the anti-slavery fair box. He sends his regards to Wendell Phillips and encloses payment towards his subscription to the Liberator for William Lloyd Garrison.In the postscript on page three of this manuscript, William James expresses delight at "the prospect of seing and hearing F. Douglass."
