Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Letter addressed from Anti-Slavery Office.Oliver Johnson writes to William Lloyd Garrison that he has received the report of the Ellenville Convention, and that his previous fears concerning the conduct and speech of the participants did not materialize. Johnson proposes that Garrison accompany him to his hometown of Peacham, Vt. in order to give an anti-slavery oration.
