Holograph, signed.The second leaf of this manuscript was previously cataloged as Ms.B.1.6 v.7, p.64.Title supplied by cataloger.May imagines that Webb's son sailed for home last week and says that he doubts if his own son will be able to "establish himself" in the Far East. May is pleased with Samuel Joseph May's success in England. He tells Webb that William Lloyd Garrison is ill again and gives an account of John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry.
