Holograph, signedTitle devised by catalogerManuscript annotated on recto, with "106" in pencil above Thompson's salutation to GarrisonManuscript addressed from "Alfred University, Alleghany County N.Y."George Thompson pens a note to William Lloyd Garrison informing him of the address delivered the previous evening to the "Library Societies" of Alfred University, and reports that he had a "fine audience". Thompson informs Garrison that he will return to Boston by way of New York City, where he hopes to meet with Oliver Johnson and Garrison's son at the offices of "The Independent". Thompson informs Garrison that he will meet him at the Anti-Slavery Office on Saturday morning
